This ideally located holiday home is a 4-minute drive from the pretty village of Louisburgh and Old Head sandy beach on the Mayo coast. From this countryside holiday home, you will be surrounded by magnificent scenery and an array of popular walks.
Mayo’s scenery ranges from lush green fields to desert like with rocky cliffs along part of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way.

An open plan kitchen, living room and dining area provides lovely mountain views from the kitchen window.
This mountain view holiday home has 2-bedrooms sleeping 4 guests: Property layout – Ground floor: -Country style kitchen -Open plan living room and dining area -Bedroom 1: double ensuite sleeping 2 -Bedroom 2: twin sleeping 2 -Family bathroom with bath and overhead shower, hand basin and toilet Wifi is available and towels are provided within the home. Outside this countryside holiday home is an enclosed patio area with garden furniture provided, perfect for relaxing and dining al fresco and taking in the breath-taking mountain views. Local Area & Tourist AttractionsLocated 2km away from Mountain View Holiday Home is the village of Louisburgh on the Bunowen River.
Here you will find a selection of grocery shops, restaurants and pubs often with live Irish music sessions. Things to do in the local area: -Louisburgh local shops, pubs and restaurants. -Surfing -Stand up paddling -Fishing -The Od Head Beach, Carramore and Golden Strand -Croagh Patrick, the Holly Mountain -Achill Island: accessible by land bridge from Mulranny -Westport -Queen of the Lakes Festival -The Annual Heritage Day IMPORTANT NOTES1.
Heating and Electricity: This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner.
In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid.
We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival how this is calculated or prior to making the booking. 2.
Security Deposit: A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner.
This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival by cash.
In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.

We had a little trouble contacting and confirming our stay with Eileen but once we arrived she was very welcoming and friendly. A great host. We had lovely views from the place and easy access to the area. Lots to see and enjoy
