Ty Hir is located close to the beautiful Mawddach Estuary with its coastal trail and cycle path.
There is direct access from the farm leading down to the golden sands of Fairbourne beach, great for families with small children or across the Victorian bridge to Barmouth.
If you wish you can just relax, enjoy a spot of fishing nearby, or for the more energetic you can enjoy family walks in the idyllic scenery, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Snowdonia National Park.
The family-run pony trekking and equestrian centre on-site is just on the north side of the farm, away from our holiday cottages with menage Hire (arena), riders or complete beginners are catered for.
Holiday stabling is available by arrangement should you wish to bring your own horse.
Shop, Golf course, pub and restaurant ¾ mile .
Cycle trails and Zip World, Bounce Below approx 45 min drive.
Say hello to our Alpacas and Pygmy goats on site.

Great place to stay whilst visiting friends in Arthog. Spacious and well equipped. The only let down was the mattresses on the double beds, they are in dire need of replacement as you can feel the springs and the creak every time you move!

Would return again lovely building. Very accommodating if we needed anything they would sort it out. Local shop is around a 15 min drive away. Upstairs not really suitable for anyone over 5ft 3 due to the sloping roof. Beautiful views from the top floor though. Hot tub heats up pretty quick and stays hot. BBQ equipment provided was great and clean. Overall happy with our stay. Thanks again!

A beautiful barn conversion with plenty of well thought out space. Tastefully furnished and comfortable throughout. The wood fired hot tub was a little tricky to keep lit, but was enjoyed once the temperature was high enough. Close to a gorgeous pebble beach at Fairbourne and a lovely prom in Barmouth.We would definitely recommend to friends and family and would love to revisit at some point.
