Fig Cottage is an ideal rural retreat for couples and small families looking for everything from outdoor pursuits to city visits.. 5 steps to entrance.

Open plan living space.
Living area: With wood burner, 39" Freeview TV, DVD player, beams, wooden floor and patio doors leading to garden.
Dining area.
Kitchen area: With electric oven, microwave, fridge and tiled floor.
Bedroom 1: With kingsize bed and beams.
Bathroom: With bath, shower attachment and toilet.

Bedroom 2 : Galleried with twin beds, beams and low sloping ceilings.. Oil central heating (ground floor), electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for wood burner included. Welcome pack. Travel cot and highchair. Laundry room with freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer (shared). Garden with terrace, garden furniture and barbecue. 8-acre grounds (shared. Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Nestling at the foot of the North Downs is Fig Cottage, a detached, listed former farm building. It resides within the owner’s 8-acre grounds and small holding, including a vineyard which guests are free to enjoy. This Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty provides access to footpaths and cycle routes, enabling you to explore the glorious, rural surroundings and enjoy horse riding and golf nearby. There is a local company from where you can hire electric bikes. Fig Cottage is ideally located for exploring Canterbury, just 9 miles away, where the skyline is dominated by its historic cathedral and is the oldest in England. For a day at the coast, towns such as Whitstable famous for its oysters, Hythe’s pebble beach, and Sandgate with interesting antique shops, are all well worth a visit. There is easy access to the Eurostar and the Channel Tunnel for those looking for something further afield in France, so don’t forget to bring your passport! Something closer to home is the local pub, where it not only feeds the family after a day’s exploring, it also provides a venue for craft fairs and farmers’ markets, and won an award for ’Kent pub of the year’ in the Kent life awards. Beach 8 miles. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.
