Set in the fishing village of St Abbs, this characterful cottage makes a relaxing retreat and is within easy reach of Berwick-upon-Tweed.. 2 steps to entrance.
Ground Floor: Living room: 36" Freeview TV, DVD Player, Record Player, Bluetooth Speaker, Woodburner Kitchen/dining room: Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Washing Machine Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet First Floor: Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds Bedroom 3: Single (3ft) Bed.
Electric heaters, electricity, bed linen, towels and logs for wood burner included.

With views of St Abbs harbour and the sea from almost every window, this charming period cottage in a terrace of fishermen’s cottages is a gloriously relaxing setting for family and friends to enjoy precious time together.
Beul-An-Latha (pronounced bee-al un la-ah), is Scots Gaelic for ’the moment the sun rises to the east’ and early risers can watch this from the bedroom.
St Abbs is twinned with New Asgard, of the ‘Avengers: Endgame’ movie fame, as filming took place in the village and Beul-An-Latha looks down to the harbour where it all happened.
The pretty little beach is just 5 minutes’ walk through the rights of way which wind through the village.
The Berwickshire Coastal Path, 48 km from Cockburnspath to Berwick-on-Tweed, passes through too.
There is a putting green and the harbour has a café, local fishing boats, a diving boat and RIB boat trips to explore the coast to see the ruins of Fast Castle, smugglers’ caves and the astonishing seabird colonies on St Abbs Head Nature Reserve.
Eyemouth, 5 miles, also has a working harbour, local shops, restaurants and a golf course.
Coldingham has two pubs to choose from.
Take the train from the Elizabethan walled town of Berwick-upon-Tweed to Edinburgh or Newcastle in under an hour.
The towns and villages of the Scottish Borders have great local food suppliers, craft and art galleries, historic abbeys and grand houses and gardens.
There is also wonderful hill walking and cycling all around the area.

Lovely cottage. Nice walks. A cafe and shop just a minute walk.
House equipment needs a bit of a clean. (Stuff in kitchen cupboards). Floor mop maybe changed.
But nothing that spoilt the visit. Would go back.

Weather not kind but we had a very enjoyable few days chasing family history and local memories. Cozy cottage in splendid location with everything one might need (bar Wi-Fi!) Had dog with us, and as weather not suitable for eating outside, good quality food available from local cafe to carry out and excellent evening meals were enjoyed in dog friendly Ship Inn and Contented Sole in Eyemouth

Breath taking views all around the village. Cottage is a little dated and in need of a little tlc. If you’re looking for somewhere to switch off from the outside world this is the place.
