Kendal has a vast array of attractions for the first time or returning visitor including Kendal Castle, the former home of Katherine Parr and a delightful shopping area, pedestrianised to create a traffic free shopping experience, boasting cobbled streets lined with an eclectic mix of shops, restaurants and cafés.
Only 10 minutes from the M6, Kendal, known as ’gateway’ to the Lakes, is ideally situated for exploring Southern Lakeland and the Yorkshire Dales.
