Villa Tapinhal is nestled in a community of traditional Portuguese holiday villas not far from the coast. The outside of the villa has a classic look with light coloured walls, a terracotta roof and traditional Algarve chimney, dark shutters and a cobbled driveway. Inside you will see a lovely mix of modern and traditional décor. The villa has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms so it can accommodate up to 6 guests making it perfect for a family or a small group of friends.

The entrance opens into the main hallway, on the right hand side you will find a beautifully tiled and fully equipped kitchen with an entrance that leads to a small courtyard with laundry facilities. Exiting the kitchen and carrying on straight ahead across the corridor will lead you to an open living room and dining area. The lounge has a large comfy sofa and fireplace, great for spending a relaxing evening in. Through the living room's large sliding door you can access the terrace and swimming pool areas. Carrying on further down the main corridor you will come across the bedrooms, there is a twin room and a double room which share a bathroom and at the end of the hallway you will find the master bedroom with double bed and en-suite bathroom.

The outside area can be accessed through a gate or via the sliding doors in the lounge. This fantastic area is spacious with beautiful sea views. There is an outside dining table and barbecue for you to enjoy a meal out in the fresh air and also an area with a comfy corner sofa and seats for you to sit back and relax with a drink while enjoying the view. If the sun starts to creep around and you fancy a little more shade then there is an extendible awning in the area for your use. To reach the pool you just need to descend a few steps, in this area you will find sun loungers, an umbrella and a swing chair all set for you to enjoy, when you are ready take a dip in the large refreshing private swimming pool.

Villa Tapinhal is located in the popular and affluent area of Vale do Lobo. This centrally located property is only a 25 minute drive from Faro Airport, so no need to worry about a long journey after your flight. Vale do Lobo beach can be reached on foot in under 10 minutes, this stunning beautifully kept beach has golden sand and calm refreshing blue water with a dramatic backdrop of red cliffs. This lively beach has plenty of restaurants, bars and activities to choose from including nice and relaxing massage cabanas. There are also facilities for renting umbrellas and loungers so all you have to worry about is laying back and relaxing. The long shoreline is ideal for having a stroll offering quieter areas if you want to get away from the crowds.

Right next to the beach you will find the famous Praça, known as the heart of Vale do Lobo. This open square right on the beach has a welcoming atmosphere and is lined with bars, restaurants and cafes. During the summer there is a centre stage with live entertainment which really brings the area to life.

If you are an avid golfer then Vale do Lobo is the right place for you. There are 2 stunning courses to choose from: The Ocean Course and The Royal Course. These 18-hole championship golf courses have hosted the Portuguese Open twice, have exceptional facilities and hold exciting competitions and tournaments all year round. The Royal Course is home to the famous 16th hole, this cliff top shot offers stunning beach views.

If you want a city day out then why not head to Faro for the day, this charming and authentic Portuguese city is the capital of the Algarve and is well worth a visit. Places of interest in Faro include: the historical old town surrounded by medieval walls and filled with narrow and winding cobbled streets, the 13th century Cathedral of Faro where you can climb to the top of the bell tower for a beautiful view of the city and the Ria Formosa nature reserve. And Igreja do Carmo, known for it's carved woodwork and Capela dos Ossos, a chapel where the walls and ceiling are covered with human bones and skulls, a morbid but fascinating sight. Faro is also a great place for a bit of shopping.
