Whether you want to spend the day sunbathing before dinner at your local taverna, or exploring secluded coves and inlets by boat before a picnic on an uninhabited island, the pristine turquoise waters of Vourvourou Bay are a fine place to start.The sandy beaches and calm waters may provide plenty of temptation to stay on the mainland, but a boat trip around the nearby islands is really not to be missed. There are plenty of options for boat rentals to be found along the main beach, or at the northern end of the bay. Boats can be rented without a license here, giving you ample time to cruise the crystal-clear waters, stopping at your leisure to swim or snorkel near hidden beaches. If you would prefer to sit back and relax, take one of the many island cruises offered to visitors.Whichever way you decide to spend your time on the water, make sure that a visit to Diaporos is on the agenda.
