The King Fisher is one of four beautifully appointed, identical Isabella Time Out Tents on a popular glamping site near the picturesque market town of Rhayader, Mid Wales. Perfect for those who love the idea of camping but don’t want to compromise on comfort, this luxury glamping experience offers all the essentials (and then some) for a relaxing rural getaway.


Sleeping up to five guests—with an optional double sofa bed for two more (additional charge applies)—this thoughtfully designed tent is a true home away from home. Inside, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchenette complete with a fridge freezer, electric oven, kettle, toaster, and all the cookware you’ll need to whip up a hearty meal or picnic for your day’s adventures.


The open-plan living area maximises space and comfort, featuring a large corner velour sofa and coffee table—perfect for lounging in front of the Smart TV after a long day. The sofa also converts into an extra bed, making it ideal for larger groups or families.


At the rear of the tent are two cosy bedrooms: one with a comfy raised double bed, and the other a triple bunk room with a lower double and upper single—ideal for kids or friends sharing.


Step outside and the charm continues: soak in your private hot tub with a glass of something bubbly, enjoy alfresco dining at the outdoor seating area, toast marshmallows around the fire pit, or relax in the star-gazing hammock while listening to the soothing babble of a nearby brook. It’s a tranquil and unique space designed to help you unwind and connect with nature.


While the tents don’t have en-suite facilities, you’ll have easy access to the clean and modern on site toilet and shower block, just a short stroll away.


A magical final touch—our resident alpacas, who roam just beyond the hedge. These gentle, curious creatures are always a hit with guests and add an unforgettable charm to your stay.


If you're keen to explore, you’re spoilt for choice: watch Red Kites being fed nearby, discover the dramatic beauty of the Elan Valley, or wander through the Gilfach Nature Reserve. The area is rich with wildlife, walking trails, and picture-perfect views.

Here we have this Unique Glamping Tent fully furnished to sleep 5 guests with an optional extra charge for the use of the sofa bed for an extra 2 guests, please enquire about this. This state of the art Glamping Tent comes complete with a fully equipped kitchenette with a small fridge freezer, electric oven, kettle, toaster & everything else you could need for the chef of the group to feel right at home whipping up a family favourite meal to enjoy in the evening or a picnic ready for that day of exploring the local area. The open plan living area always ensure that all the space is used to its full potential, with a large corner sofa with coffee table in front, this is the perfect area to kick back and relax and enjoy your favourite series on the smart television, this sofa also doubles up as an additional sleeping area. To the back of the property lies the two bedrooms, one is a upper comfy double bedroom and the second bedroom a triple bunk bed room with a lower double bed and upper single bed. With its own private hot tub this is the perfect place to relax with your favourite glass of bubbly, bliss right? The King Fisher also has its own outdoor seating for alfresco dining, fire pit for toasting gooey marshmallows & a star gazing hammock to relax on in the sunshine, the perfect place to chill out with a good book whilst listening to the sound of the babbling brook that passes near the property. These tents do not have their own bathrooms but you have full access to the on site toilet and shower block which is a very short walking distance from the tent.
