Only a few blocks away from Little Italy, Balboa Park, the Zoo and the Gaslamp! *****Please note, this unit is located right under a flight path and can be noisy due to air traffic during active flight hours!***** Please note that the unit is located on the ground level surrounded by grass and orange trees, certain bugs might be encountered if food is lying around the place.
This cottage is ideally located between beautiful Balboa Park, the Gaslamp & Little Italy.
Surrounded by historic homes, local restaurants and unique bars; this spot is the perfect home base for your San Diego experience.
Please keep in mind this cottage was built in 1939.
You’ll get to enjoy your very own private front yard which is perfect for your 4 legged friend and is decorated with blooming Valencia orange trees (which you are welcome to pick and enjoy!).
Right at the entrance, you`ll see a lovely kitchen table, and small but fully equipped kitchen.
Don`t miss the couch to accommodate one extra person! (not pull out).
Cozy living room with a couch and smart TV. in the back of the bungalow is the bedroom with fresh plush linens and ensuite bathroom with a tub.
This bungalow is fully equipped with a convenient washer & dryer, a cozy kitchen and an assortment of cooking utensils. please keep in mind.
It is a 420 square-foot bungalow.
But it does have a lovely fenced in front yard with your very own orange trees :) A few blocks away, you`ll find yourself in the heart of Little Italy and can enjoy its assortment of fantastic restaurants and bars! From there, you`re a hop and a skip away from our beautiful marina! You don`t want to miss the Little Italy Mercato Farmers Market every Saturday which draws crowds to enjoy its wide variety of produce, gourmet food, and craft products.
This city truly has something for everyone and is especially kid-friendly and dog-friendly so bring them along! We are longtime San Diego residents, and we love to help our guests get the most out of their time with us.

Filled with historic homes, local restaurants and bars, and just a short walk to the myriad of restaurants in Little Italy, this cottage is the perfect place for your San Diego home base. Local favorites within walking distance include The Balboa, Wet Stone, Bankers Hill Restaurant, Cucina Urbana, Pizzicata, Ballast Point Brewery, Civico 45, Ironside & Mona Lisa. Little Italy is a 10 minute walk just west of the 5, and offers a range of fantastic local shops and restaurants. Beautiful and historic Balboa Park is also a short walk and is a must-see San Diego destination filled with over 17 museums, several gardens, miles of hiking trails and several delicious restaurants. Additionally, the Gaslamp Quarter is located just 1 mile south and is only a short Uber ride away. Guests can also walk 10 minutes west to San Diego Bay to enjoy a short ferry ride to Coronado Island, home to Coronado Beach, consistently rated the best beach in the country.
