Sea Watcher is located on the West Cliff just off the North Terrace so you can expect beautiful sea views. The Blue Flag West Cliff beach and promenade is just a short stroll from the apartment and on Pier Road, you’ll find fun arcades and plenty of fish restaurants where you can sample the catch of the day. The other side of Whitby is full of narrow, medieval streets dotted with boutiques and pubs. Climb the famous 199 steps up to the Church of Saint Mary. You can also discover the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey, which was the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’. Step outside of Whitby and you’ll uncover a haven of woodland and moorland. Whitby forms part of the North York Moors National Park so it’s the perfect place for long walks. Sea Watcher is located in the centre of Whitby so the town can easily be explored on foot. Whitby train station is just a short 15-minute walk away so villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station. There are plenty of bus routes throughout Whitby. Hop on the X4 and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes. The X93 travels along the coast to Scarborough. The 95 route features plenty of quaint villages, such as Grosmont and Lealholm.

Excellent sea front property, well equipped, comfortable beds, lovely views and a few steps from Clara’s coffee shop.
Great location to access the town and lots of free parking during the off-season.
Possibly not suitable for those with mobility issues as property as accessible via 3 flights of stairs.
We will definitely return.

Excellent location and fabulous apartment with everything we needed. Just found it difficult to locate the property. It would help if there was a clear sign at the front of the property.
