In the Parc des Écrins, at the foot of the Col du Noyer, facing wide open spaces and on the edge of the forest, it is in this preserved natural environment that Laurent, the owner, will have the pleasure of welcoming you.

The “Le Forest du col” gîte is located in an independent chalet made up of two levels.

On the ground floor: large living room with dining area and integrated kitchen; bathroom and separate toilet.

On the attic floor: spacious mezzanine with fitted lounge area; a double bedroom as well as a bedroom with 2 single beds.

Enjoy a moment of rejuvenation with the sound of the torrent as the only background sound from one of the terraces at your disposal with, at the back of the chalet, a clear view of the forest and the Dévoluy massif.

Heating via pellet stove and electric radiators.

Private parking in front of the gîte.

Final access to the chalet is via 100m of a stony path which is not cleared of snow in winter (the owner will bring the luggage up on a quad and your arrival will be on snowshoes).

Gîte located on the Dominique Villars botanical trail and near the botanical museum.

Numerous possibilities for outdoor and leisure activities on site or nearby: hiking, mountain biking, 20 minutes from the St Julien-en-Champsaur lake and its water activities; for winter sports, downhill skiing at the Laye station (around 18 mins) and cross-country skiing at the Gap-Bayard plateau (around 16 mins).
