Mas du Granan is a characterful and stylish holiday home just a short stroll from the enchanting village of Gordes. This gorgeous villa combines timeless Provençal charm with modern elegance following a recent refurbishment to impeccable standards. Make the most of a landscaped garden, heated swimming pool and glorious views of the Luberon; the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway with families or friends.
The bright, open-plan living space is south-facing and bathed in natural light. The spacious lounge, adorned with comfortable sofas and a Smart TV with Netflix, flows seamlessly into a state-of-the-art kitchen equipped with premium appliances (including an all-important wine fridge and coffee machine) and a breakfast bar.
Adjacent, the pretty dining area opens out to the patio, where al-fresco dining awaits overlooking the gorgeous garden.
Mas du Granan sleeps 8 guests across four double en-suite bedrooms, each thoughtfully designed for comfort and style. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor with king-size beds, one with a shower room, the other with a bathtub and shower. Upstairs, another two doubles (with queen-size beds and modern shower rooms) offer Luberon vistas, ideal for unwinding after a day of exploration.
Outdoors, soak up the Provençal ambience of the private garden with its lavender, roses, olive trees and pines creating a fragrant haven. There is ample space for croquet, pétanque and other garden games or dip into the heated swimming pool and sunbathe on the poolside loungers.
Set on a country lane on the edge of the village, it’s great to be able to walk along local roads to the heart of Gordes, officially classified as one of France’s ‘Plus Beaux Villages’. Potter around its cobbled lanes passing art galleries, artisan shops and inviting restaurants serving local specialities. The bustling Tuesday morning market is a particular highlight and a great way to pick up a wealth of seasonal produce.
As you explore the picture-perfect village of Gordes, gaze at the breathtaking scenery that has inspired artists for many years, including the likes of Van Gogh, then venture further afield to discover the true beauty of the Luberon and this captivating corner of Provence.
