Tucked quietly just off Bank Street, Bakers Close is a charming ground-floor hideaway, only a few minutes’ walk from Elie’s long sandy beach and the shops, cafés and deli on High Street and Bank Street.
With its own main-door entrance and a short vennel leading to a private rear patio, it feels nicely tucked away while still being right in the heart of the village.
Everything is set out on one level, making it a great option for guests with limited mobility, couples, friends or a small family looking for an easy coastal escape.
Wi-Fi is included, and one small dog is welcome (terms and supplement apply).
Inside, the double doors open into a bright, tastefully furnished living space.
The lounge is beautifully presented with a Smart TV, comfy two-seater sofa, chairs, coffee table, rug and coordinating soft furnishings, plus a decorative wall-mounted fire and hi-fi for cosy evenings in.
Semi open-plan to this, the dining area has a round table with four chairs, bookcase and a large roof window that brings in loads of natural light – perfect for slow breakfasts or relaxed suppers after a day on the beach or nearby coastal paths.
The luxury fitted kitchen overlooks the private patio and comes well equipped with gas hob, electric oven, integrated extractor, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, Nespresso machine, and stylish Smeg kettle and toaster, keeping self-catering simple and enjoyable.
