Our home is in a family-friendly, peaceful area on the heights of Millau, ideal if you want calm evenings while staying close to town. The city center can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes (depending on your pace). Ideas nearby (easy and very typical of Millau): • Walk to the historic center to enjoy small streets, cafés, and the local atmosphere • Climb the Beffroi (Tour des Rois d’Aragon) for panoramic views over Millau and the surrounding “Causses” • Try the weekly markets (great for local produce and regional specialties) • For nature lovers, Millau is a perfect base for viewpoints and hikes around the Pouncho d’Agast Millau is known for its outdoor lifestyle and big landscapes. If you have a car, it’s easy to plan day trips to viewpoints and major sites around the area, including the Millau Viaduct visitor area and exhibitions.
